Trans Nzoia Falcons’ away match against Mathare United Women yielded the biggest scoreline as the FKF Women Premier League got back underway on Saturday, April 6, 2019.
The Trans Nzoia county based side edged out Mathare United Women 6-2 at Camp Toyoyo.
Martha Amunyolete netted a hat trick: her goals coming in the sixth, tenth and 57th minute, with Sharon Mukhwana (eighth minute) and Tumaini Waliaula (31st and 47th minute) also on the scoresheet. Teresia Lundu and Dorah Achieng netted Mathare’s consolation goals.
Puren Anyetu, meanwhile, was the hero of the day for Zetech Soccer Queens, hitting four goals as they overcame Eldoret Falcons 5-0. Foscah Atieno was also on target for Soccer Queens.
Gaspo Youth in the meantime edged out Makolanders 3-2. Wincate Kaari, Winnie Kanyotu and Elizabeth Wanbui were on target for Gaspo, with goals by Amy Lasu and Sharon Adhiambo only serving as mere consolation goals.
