Euronuts and Limuru Starlets, the reigning boys and girls Chapa Dimba na Safaricom champions, will be defending their titles when Thika Stadium hosts Chapa Dimba edition two Central regional finals on Sat 13 and Sun 14 April 2019.
Euronuts and Limuru Starlets will be seeking a place in a second straight final when they face off with Maragua’s Irigiro in the fourth semi of the day and Thika’s JYSA, respectively, in their Saturday semifinal games.
To win the titles last year, Euronuts beat Laikipia’s Lufa 1-0 as Limuru Starlets dispatched Rwambiti 6-0 at Thika Technical Training Institute grounds.
To set the ball rolling on day one, starting 8.30am, will be Barcelona from Laikipia and Kirinyaga Dynamos during the first semifinal.
The winner will meet the victorious side from semifinal three that pits champions Limuru starlets and JYSA set for 12.30pm.
Lufa Graduates – the favorites in edition one who ended up with as silver medalists’ – has a tough Tetu Boys to deal with in the first boy’s semifinal scheduled to hit off at 10.30am.
The winner from that duel will book the Euronuts-Irigiro winner in the Sunday final.
