League leaders Kisumu All-Stars played out a barren draw with Ushuru in the highlight match of round 32 of the FKF National Super League played on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.
This as Nairobi Stima overcame City Stars 1-0 in yet another match played at the Hope Center Grounds.
Ushuru were looking to make amends after back to back defeats at the hands of FC Talanta and Bidco United. The Taxmen could however not find a way past Kisumu All-Stars, who have maintained top position for three rounds now, a clear pointer to their promotion intentions.
Nairobi Stima meanwhile, had Shela Mandela to thank as his lone goal lifted them to second, pending Sunday’s matches.
FC Talanta, in the meantime, failed to replicate their outstanding performance in their last match against Ushuru when they went down 2-0 to St Joseph Youth in Nakuru.
Five more matches will be played on Sunday, among them a doubleheader at the Thika Stadium.
