The Kenya National team, Harambee Stars, left the country on Sunday, November 10, 2019, for Cairo, Egypt ahead of their upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Pharaohs.
The team is traveling to the North African nation via Dubai and is expected in Egypt on Monday afternoon.
Local based players made up a big chunk of Sunday’s traveling party, with foreign-based players in the contingent including Ethiopia based Patrick Matasi and Sweden based duo of Joseph Okumu and Eric Ouma.
The rest of the squad will link up directly in Egypt from their bases in Zambia, Europe, and Asia.
Stars will play Egypt in the first qualifying match on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria, and Togo, four days later, on Monday, at the MISC Kasarani.
