Harambee Starlets sealed a top spot finish in Group B of the ongoing CECAFA Women Championships in Tanzania, consequently booking a semifinal berth against Burundi on Saturday.
Starlets beat Uganda 3-0, courtesy of a goal apiece by Mercy Airo, Mwanalima Adam and Gentrix Shikangwa, completing a perfect group stage outing.

βWe scored early in the game. That gave us the confidence to manage the game. I am also glad that we rested some players and gave others a chance. Mercy Airo, Topista Situma and Gentrix Shikangwa are just some of the players who took their chance yesterday,β he added.
Up next is a semifinal match against Burundi on Saturday, as Uganda face hosts Tanzania in the other semi. The final, meanwhile, has been slated for Monday, November 25, 2019.
