Nairobi City Stars beat Vihiga Bullets 2-0 on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Camp Toyoyo to maintain top spot in the Betika Super League table.
Oliver Maloba put his team in front with a goal in the 35th minute. Ezekiel Odera doubled City Stars’ advantage in the 66th minute to see Simba wa Nairobi move to 49 points from 20 matches.
Earlier at the same venue, Kenya Police had come from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Nairobi Stima.
Shela Mandela gave Stima an early lead in the 8th minute, with Ronald Okello getting the Powermen’s second minutes to halftime.
Police then left it late, netting in the 79th and 88th minute through forwards David Oluoch and James Nthiga to seal a dramatic comeback.
