The Football Kenya Federation referees and match commissioners course has kicked off on Monday, February 3, 2020, at Bukhungu Stadium.

Drawn from different leagues under the Football Kenya Federation, the participants are expected to learn the laws of the game and apply it appropriately in the field.

“The course will entail fitness tests and medical evaluations of the participants to ensure they are in proper shape to preside over league matches,” said FKF Referees manager Sylvester Kirwa.

“We also included match commissioners in this course so as to place themĀ  on the same page with the referees on the laws of the game and also learn some new concepts. All this is in a bid to help ensure smooth running of the league matches,” he added

The course is being spearheaded by Sylvester Kirwa, Maculate Akorot, Peter Kiereini, Steven Oduor and Margaret Omondi.
