National Olympic Committee -Kenya Sec. General Francis Mutuku has lauded Nick Mwendwa on his re-election as FKF President
President Nick Mwendwa and his deputy president Doris Petra amassed 77 votes out of a possible 87 in the national elections held on Saturday, October 17, 2020.
“We write to congratulate you on your re-election to serve another term as President of the Football Kenya Federation, ” read part of the letter sent to president Mwendwa, signed by NOC-K Sec. General Francis Mutuku.
He went on to challenge president Mwendwa on delivering a team that will carry the Kenyan Flag in the Olympics.
“Mr. Mwendwa, can we challenge you to deliver to Kenya a team to participate in the Olympics! We trust and believe you can do it,” he stated in the letter.
He also assured the incumbent president Nick Mwendwa of their continued support in all the areas of mutual interest between them.
“We assure you and your Executive of our continued support in all the areas of mutual interest,” read the letter in part.
President Nick Mwendwa is resilient in continuing to fulfill his mandate to raise the standard of Kenyan football during his second term in office.
