Harambee Stars safely arrived in Moroni on Saturday, November 14, 2020, in time for their Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier against Comoros.
The team had a feel of the field of play, the Stade Omnisports de Malouzini, on Saturday evening ahead of the crucial qualifier.
“The pitch is okay. A lot better than what we had at (MISC) Kasarani on Wednesday,” said Coach Jacob “Ghost” Mulee, as he pointed out his intention to dig out a positive result in Moroni.
“Kenyans have high expectations for us. We have a chance to either surpass Comoros, maintain the status quo, or drop further down the pecking order. Our mission is to get the best possible result that will keep us in contention for a place in the 2022 AFCON,” he said.
The match has been slated for Sunday, November 15, 2020, starting at 7 pm EAT.
