The Kenya U20 National team kicked off their CECAFA Championships campaign with a 3-0  win against Ethiopia on Monday, November 23, 2020, at the Sheikh Amri Abeid grounds in Arusha Tanzania.

Forward Benson Omala’s well-calculated header earned Rising Stars a head start as the sound of the buzzer closed off the first half scores at 1-0.

A mishap by the Ethiopian keeper opened a chance for Ronald Reagan to net a goal at the 46th minute and sealing the win for Kenya was the timely pass to Enoch Wanyama that led to the final scores reading 3-0.

Up next for the Rising Stars is a blockbuster against Sudan on Friday, November 27, 2020, at the Sheikh Amri Abeid grounds, starting at 1 pm.
