Wadadia has bagged their first win of the 2020/21 zonal FKF Women Premier League season after beating SEP Girls 3-1 on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at the Mumias Sports Complex.
Ruth Chebungei netted a goal in the 21st minute for Wadadia with her counterpart Marion Abiona bagging the second goal in the 36th minute. To cap off her brace, Chebungei in the 38th minute closing the first half scores at 3-0.
After the break, Susan Ogindi scored a consolation goal for S.E.P Girls in the 73rd minute closing the scores at 3-1.
Later on, Oserian Ladies suffered a defeat of 3-0 in their game against Vihiga Queens
Vihiga Queens Forward Terry Engesha shot past the defense of Oserian Ladies in the 33rd minute and capping off her brace in the 44th minute.
Vivian Nasaka scored the final goal for Vihiga Queens in the 55th minute closing off the scores at 3-0.
Meanwhile, in Zone A, Ulinzi Starlets overwhelmed Kibera Soccer Ladies 5-1 at the Ligi Ndogo grounds, while at the Ruiru Grounds Gaspo lost 1-5 to Ulinzi Starlets.
