FC Talanta has maintained their place at the top of the Betika National Super League following a 2-0 win over Silibwet on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at the Ruaraka Grounds.

The first half was rather cagey with both teams failing to see the back of the net closing off the half time scores at 0-0.

Upon resumption, the game went on at a stalemate until the 84th minute when Andrew Murunga struck for goal putting FC Talanta in the lead.

Before the dust settled, Murunga went on to cap off his brace in the 89th minute sealing the scores at 2-0

Meanwhile, at Camp Toyoyo, Mt.Kenya United was held to a 1-1 draw by Soy United.
