The match that will be played on Saturday, April 24, 2021, in Zambia, sets in motion Harambee starlets preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Harambee Starlets called up players are set to start checking into camp on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, and conduct their first training session on Thursday.

This is in preparation to qualify for the 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco that will be able to earn them a direct entry slot to the 2023 World Cup that will be held in Australia and New Zealand.

Six slots have been set aside for Africa representatives for the 2023 FIFA Women World Cup. The semi-finalists in the 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations will earn direct entries to the global tournament, the remaining two slots will be allocated to the winners of the teams who will take part in the playoffs.
