Football Kenya Federation CEO Barry Otieno has on Monday, May 10, 2021, presided over the opening ceremony of a ten-day CAF D coaching course at the Ligi Ndogo grounds
The course is as a result of a partnership between Football Kenya Federation and Ligi Ndogo.
Under the tutelage of Instructors George Mwangi and Leon Matthews, the course is expected to benefit 40 coaches.
FKF CEO Barry Otieno echoed one of the Federation’s agendas on ensuring capacity building of our coaches across the country who will share their football knowledge to their youth players that in the long term, will help improve the standards of football in the country.
“As per our vision, we aim to ensure capacity building of all our coaches so they may transfer their acquired knowledge to their players and hence raise the standards of football in the country,” echoed Mr. Otieno.
Football Kenya Federation has actualized its vision for capacity building of coaches by spearheading coaching courses countrywide and have so far certified over 4000 trainers
