Confederation of African Football (CAF) has set new dates for Harambee Starlets’ 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifiers owing to the actual conditions of certain stadiums in Africa and Covid -19 restrictions.

HarambeeStarlets was earlier pitted against South Sudan in the regional showpiece qualifiers and will now play their first-round matches between October 18, and October 26, 2021.

The second-round matches will then be played between February 14, February 23, 2022.

Earlier on the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers were also postponed from June to September.

Harambee Starlets will be looking to qualify for AWCON for the second time, and ultimately earn a slot in the 2023 FIFA Women World Cup that will be co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia
