Confederation of African Football (CAF) has this morning, Wednesday, July 21, 2021, duly certified 129 coaches at the CAF C License level.

The coaches initially undertook the course in 2017 but were not certified then, following a change in the curriculum by the CAF Technical Department.

FKF, in June this year, with guidance from CAF, held a refresher course for the coaches, who have now been duly certified.

“This has been a pending issue, but we are now happy that we have not only refreshed their skills but also given them the necessary certification that can enable them to harness coaching opportunities both locally and abroad,” said FKF Deputy President Doris Petra at the closing ceremony of the refresher course.

FKF has in the past five years trained over 4,000 coaches at the CAF D License level and over 450 coaches at the CAF C Level, in a move aimed at capacity building of coaches to enable them to handle players in the right way.
