Football Kenya Federation President Nick Mwendwa presided over the closing ceremony of the FKF Women Administrators course at the Kenya School of Special Education on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

FKF Vice President Doris Petra, FKF CEO Barry Otieno, and FKF NEC Women Representative Margaret Omondi also graced the event.

The administration course was put up by the Football Kenya Federation in conjunction with FIFA with an aim of equipping the 51 participants with the necessary skills to actualize the recently launched FKF Women Football Strategy.

During the closing ceremony on Wednesday, FKF President Nick Mwendwa encouraged the FKF Women representatives to actualize what they learned in the course.

“During this course, the FKF Women Representatives have acquired necessary skills that will in the long run help actualize the recently launched FKF Women’s Football Strategy in their respective counties,” said FKF President Nick Mwendwa.

FKF Vice President Doris Petra reiterated FKF President Nick Mwendwa’s words urging the FKF Women Representatives to continue the good work they are currently doing in their counties.

“I would like to urge the FKF Women Representatives to pick the skills they have attained during this course and go and apply them in their respective counties,” said FKF Vice President Doris Petra.

The course covered leadership skills, Sponsorship Management, Strategic Planning, Financial Planning, Project Management, Marketing, and Communication & Media management.
