Shabana picked three points after they beat Nairobi Stima 1-0 in their Betika National Super League round 34 fixture played on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the GEMS Cambridge grounds

The game kicked off with a fast pace as the 9th minute almost saw Nairobi Stima’s Kelvine Oduor nick the lead with his shot from the far left edge of the area.

Four minutes later, Shabana’s Bryan Michira received a nice cross into the area but he landed the ball right at Nairobi Stima Goalkeeper Dolph Owino’s hands.

In the 37th minute, Shabana’s Ashif Obwaka tried to tip in the ball into the net but Owino left the line to save the potential goal.

Bryan Michira gave Shabana the lead after he converted from Nehemiah Onchiri’s delivery into the area in the 42nd minute.

Nairobi Stima’ Tevin Opondo almost equalized the scores in the 45th minute but the Shabana goalkeeper Broline Opiyo stretched on the ground, sending the ball for a goal kick. This sealed the first half scores at 1-0

After resumption, Shabana’s Fred Nyakundi attempted to double the scores in the 78th minute but his attempt was saved by Owino.

Nairobi Stima made several attempts to equalize the scores but the final whistle sealed the scores at 1-0.
