Curtains have come down on a five-day Physical Endurance Test (PET) training on Friday, September 17, 2021, in Kericho County.

The training exercise, saw 247 referees drawn from the FKF Leagues, taken through endurance and agility drills to test their physical ability as well as medical tests to ascertain their fitness to officiate the league matches.

FKF Deputy President Doris Petra opined that the Federation deems to conduct quarterly referee PET training which helps ensure the leagues are officiated properly.

“As a Federation, we deem to conduct quarterly referee PET training that helps ensure effective running of our leagues especially as we head into the new season,” said FKF Vice President Doris Petra.

An FKF match commissioners course has materialized in Kericho county, training 120 match commissioners drawn from the different FKF leagues ahead of the 2021/2022 season.
