Ulinzi Starlets edged Zetech Sparks 3-2 in the FKF Women Cup quarterfinals played on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at the Ruaraka Grounds.

Lucy Mukhwana opened the scores for Ulinzi Starlets in the 3rd minute adding to the tempo of the game, as both teams were eyeing for a spot at the FKF Women Cup Semifinals.

Six minutes to the end of the first half an awarded corner kick to Zetech Sparks, which Winnie Gwatenda took, equalized the scores.

In the 46th minute, Elizabeth Wanyonyi bagged the second goal for Zetech Sparks, closing the first half scores at 2-1.

After the intermission, Neddy Akoth equalized the scores for Ulinzi Starlets by sending the ball to the back of the net in the 54th minute.

Neddy Akoth went on to bag her brace in the 82nd minute, a goal that steered Ulinzi Starlets to the FKF Women Cup semifinals as the final whistle sealed the scores at 3-2.

Kisumu All Starlets, Gaspo Women and Vihiga Queens will also feature in the FKF Women Cup semifinals.
