Football Kenya Federation Vice President Doris Petra has on Monday, November 28, 2022, presided over the opening ceremony of a three-day mandatory pre-season FKF Division One PET training at Kasarani.

Also in attendance was FKF CEO Barry Otieno, FKF NEC member Central Region Davis Chege, FKF NEC member Anthony Makau, FKF NEC Women Representative Margaret Omondi, FKF Nairobi West chairman Caleb Malweyi, FKF Isiolo Chairman Hussein Dima, and FKF Nairobi East Secretary Dickson Doyo.

The 200 match officials were taken through endurance and agility drills that assess their physical ability and medical tests that vouch for their fitness to officiate the league matches.

On Tuesday, they will be taken through football integrity classes with FKF Head of Integrity Mike Kamure and will also learn the 2022/23 amendment of the laws of the game.

The training is being spearheaded by Margaret Omondi, Stephen Oduor, Tabitha Wanjiru, Dorcas Moraa, Moses Osano, and Damaris Kimani and is set to close on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

This is being done in preparation for the FKF Division One Women and Men leagues scheduled to commence on Saturday, December 10, 2022.
