200 FKF Division One match officials have on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, concluded their pre-season Physical Endurance Test (PET) training at Kasarani Stadium.
FKF Vice President Doris Petra presided over the closing ceremony that was also attended by FKF CEO Barry Otieno, FKF NEC member Anthony Makau, FKF Nairobi West chairman Caleb Malweyi, FKF Isiolo Chairman Hussein Dima, and FKF Kakamega chairman Allan Muhando.
The match officials drawn from the FKF Division One League were taken through endurance and agility drills to test their physical ability and medical tests to ascertain their fitness to officiate league matches commencing on Saturday, December 10, 2022.
They were also taken through football integrity classes with FKF Head of Integrity Mike Kamure and were shown how to recognize, instances of match-fixing, resist, and report suspicious activities.
FKF Head of Technical Department Michale Amenga also kept them abreast with the existing coaching accreditation regulations as well as the Federation’s accreditation threshold, in a continued effort to fully professionalize the FKF leagues.
FKF FIFA technical instructors Damaris Kimani and Moses Osano took the officials through the 2022/23 amendment of the laws of the game. Other instructors in the PET training included Margaret Omondi, Stephen Oduor, Tabitha Wanjiru, and Dorcas Moraa.
