Shabana maintained their winning streak after they beat Mombasa Elite 1-0 at the Mbaraki Sports Grounds in their FKF National Super league midweek fixtures.
Dennis Simiyu’s goal in the 72nd minute saw the Kisii side bag all three points, earning them their third win in the league.
Meanwhile, Kisumu United was held to a goalless draw by visiting MCF at the Moi Stadium, Kisumu.
At Bomet Stadium, Migori Youth edged Silibwet 2-1 in an engaging encounter. Jimi Owili’s goal gave Silibwet the lead in the 27th minute, however, Silibwet’s Michael Kahisi scored an own goal in the 41st minute that put their rivals back in the game. Migori Youth John Mwita scored the winner in the 86th minute, a lead they held onto until the final whistle.
