Tumaini Waliaula scored a brace to earn Trans Nzoia Falcons a 2-1 win in the FKF Women Premier League match day four action played on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
Wadadia took an early lead in the 13th minute through Amida Wesonga’s goal.
Waliaula evened the scores in the 43rd minute and scored her second in the 67th minute to give her team victory.
At the Moi Stadium, Kisumu visiting Thika Queens beat Kisumu All Starlets 4-2.
Jecinta Nyambok gave Kisumu All Starlets an early lead through a 14th minute goal. However, the lead was short-lived as Wendy Atieno responded for Thika Queens in just three minutes.
Atieno grabbed her second in the 42nd minute before Stella Odhiambo scored the third goal right before the break to give Thika Queens a first-half 3-1 lead.
After the break, Wendy Atieno completed her hat-trick scoring for Thika Queens’ in the 57th minute. Five minutes later, Monica Etot bagged the second goal for Kisumu All Starlets.
On Sunday, Bunyore Starlets pulled a 2-1 upset over Ulinzi Starlets at the Mumias Sports Complex.
