Nakuru City Queens beat Ulinzi Starlets 3-1 in their FKF Women Premier League round 6 fixture played at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
The win, their third on the trot pushed them to second position in the league standings.
Captain Sheryl Angach opened the scoring for Ulinzi Starlets in the 13th minute, however, eight minutes later Mulindi Melon restored parity for Nakuru City Queens.
In the 76th minute, Stacy Koech scored for Nakuru City Queens to give them the lead. They sealed the win a minute to stoppage time when Ruth Chebungei struck from the spot.
Thika Queens returned to winning ways after a 3-0 win against Wadadia at the Mumias Sports Complex on Saturday.
Vihiga Queens maintained their run at the top with a 2-0 win against Kisumu Allstarlets. Bunyore Starlets was held to a goalless draw by visiting Gaspo Women at the Mumboha Grounds.
Zetech Sparks thumped Kayole Starlet 5-0 at GEMS Cambridge.
