The FKF Appeals Committee has rendered its decision on an appeal lodged by AFC Leopards against the decision of the FKF Leagues and Competitions Committee on the abandoned Match no. 222 against Kakamega Homeboyz.

Having analyzed the submissions presented before it, the Committee confirmed the decision of the Leagues and Competitions Committee and partially upheld the sanctions imposed on AFC Leopards as follows:

  1. That the FKF-PL round 25 match no.222 be awarded to Kakamega Homeboyz on three (3) points two (2) goals basis.
  2. The decision to dock AFC Leopards SC 3 points is set aside.
  3. That AFC LEOPARDS SC shall cater or refund for incurred medical costs by the Center Referee Mr. Michael Obuya.
  4. That AFC Leopards SC shall play 3 Home games behind closed doors, namely Match 226, 245 and 271.
  5. That AFC Leopards SC to pay a fine of Kes. 300,000/=.
  6. That Disciplinary proceedings be opened by FKF Disciplinary Committee against all relevant parties in violation for misconduct as set out in Article 9.1,9.4,9,5,9.6 of the Rules and Regulations Governing Kenyan Football (2019).

This decision passed by the Appeals Committee has been notified to the parties concerned.
