Ulinzi Starlets beat Vihiga Queens 3-2 in an exhilarating FKF Women Premier League match played at the Mumias Sports Complex.

Vihiga Queens took the lead in the 20th minute through Sharlene Ikalakala before Lucy Nato scored for Ulinzi to level the scores 10 minutes later.

Joy Kinglady made it two for Ulinzi Starlets before the halftime break. Vihiga Queens restored parity through Ikalakala’s second in the 60th minute.

Sophia Adhiambo scored the winner for Ulinzi Starlets on the brink of stoppage time.

At the Kenyatta Stadium, Kitale, Zetech Sparks held hosts Trans Nzoia Falcons to a goalless draw.

Thika Queens beat hosts Gaspo Women 5-1 in a thrilling derby played at GEMS Cambridge, on Sunday.

Chris Kach opened the scoring in the 5th minute for Thika Queens, and Juliet Andibo added a second three minutes later.

Wendy Achieng scored twice in the 15th and 18th minutes before Gaspo’s Lydia Akoth pulled one back in the 30th minute.

Achieng got her hat-trick eight minutes after capping a goal-laden first half.
