Gor Mahia opened up a four-point lead at the top of the FKF Premier League after a big comeback win against Kenya Police in a thrilling match at the MISC Kasarani.
With the league officially at halfway Gor finish the first leg four points ahead of Nzoia Sugar who could only manage a goalless draw against Talanta.
Both Benson Omalla and Elvis Rupia, the top scorers in the league, got on the scoresheet.
Elvis Rupia opened the scoring for Police from a Duke Abuya assist in the 10th minute. Seven minutes later, Dennis Njire leveled for Kogalo.
Benson Omala went on to score the winner in the 81st minute.
On Friday, Kariobangi Sharks got back on the winning saddle with a 2-0 win against Sofapaka at Kasarani Annex.
Sigmun Maina netted a goal in the 49th minute to put Kariobangi Sharks in the lead.
A water break in the 67th minute saw a rejuvenated Tyson Otieno seal the win for Sharks seven minutes later.
KCB will play AFC Leopards at the MISC Kasarani on Sunday. They are tied at 33 points with Nzoia Sugar.
