29 coaches have graduated at CAF D level this afternoon in Kariobangi.

The coaches include former internationals Francis Onyiso and Ezekiel Odera as well as current players Moses Otieno and Lucy Njeri of FC Talanta and Kayole Starlets.

“My intention is to take this knowledge and mold some of the incredible talents I see around the country. I want to help mold the next Wanyama, the next Olunga, and the next Oyiso,” said Ezekiel Odera.

Former Harambee Stars keeper Onyiso is very clear about his intent.

“It’s about young grassroots players. And working to unlock their potential.”

The course included 5 women with  Lucy Njeri, Grace Nyambura, Anne Apondi, Susan Njoki, and Joan Nanjala also graduating from the course.

Lucy Njeri urges more women to take up the courses.

‘We need more women on the technical benches of Women’s Premier League clubs. ”

The closing ceremony was presided by FKF CEO Barry Otieno. Also in attendance were, FKF NEC Nairobi Region Michael Majua, and FKF Nairobi East Chairman Amos Wakili.

The course was under the tutelage of Jerim Owuor.
