A fiery match between Zetech Sparks and Thika Queens is expected at the Ruaraka Ground in the FKF Women’s Cup round of 16 action set to take place this weekend.

The teams have a strong rivalry which will spice up the do-or-die match-up on Saturday.

Zetech Sparks Head Coach Benard Kitolo says it best,” I have told the girls that this is not going to be an easy game. We are planning to for an explosive contest at Ruaraka grounds.”

Zetech Sparks beat the former champions 1-0 when the two teams met in the league.

” We have shifted our focus to this match. We got a win against Thika Queens in the first leg fixtures and we hope to do the same in the FKF Women’s Cup,” Zetech Sparks Captain Puren Alukwe.

This weekend, eight matches are on the cards in the FKF Women’s Cup Round of 16, with six on Saturday and two more on Sunday.

The doubleheader in Ruaraka on Saturday, will host Ulinzi Starlets against FKF Women Division One side  Soccer Sister at 11 am, and right after, the headliner pitting Thika Queens against Zetech Sparks will take centerstage.

In Kitale, Royal Starlets play Eldoret Falcons, while Kisumu Allstarlets travel to the coast to face Mombasa Olympic.

Nakuru City Queens play Gaspo Women at RVIST grounds and Vihiga Queens meet Kisped Queens.

On Sunday, Kibera Soccer Ladies face Falling Waters in the first doubleheader match in Ruaraka, Kahawa Queens against Fortune Ladies will then follow.
