The FKF Women’s Cup has reached its latter stages, and the spotlight will be on the semifinals, set to take place on May 31st, 2023 at the Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology (RVIST) ground in Nakuru.

With the 2022/23 FKF Women Premier League season coming to an end on May 27, 2023, four teams will still be battling out on the field for the final spot in the FKF Women’s Cup tournament.

The first semifinal of the day will showcase the home side, Nakuru City Queens, who will seek to make their home-ground advantage count as they face off against Kibera Soccer Ladies.

Nakuru City Queens have had an impressive run in the tournament, defeating Gaspo Women and Thika Queens on their journey to the semifinals.

Kibera Soccer Ladies, the only FKF Women Division One team remaining in the tournament, have proven themselves as a formidable side. They currently sit atop their division’s standings and have their eyes set on promotion to the FKF Women’s Premier League next season.

In the second semifinal matchup, defending champions Ulinzi Starlets will go head-to-head against Kisumu Allstarlets. Ulinzi Starlets will be determined to claim another victory after winning the inaugural edition of this tournament.

Kisumu Allstarlets, on the other hand, will present a challenge to the defending champions. They hope to overturn the 4-2 loss at the hands of Ulinzi Starlets in the inaugural edition of the tournament.
