The Women’s FKF Division one Zone A and B leagues drew to their conclusion on Sunday, August 6, 2023.

Following the completion of the leagues two playoff matches have been lined up to determine the overall Women’s Division One champion as well as the third-placed team to earn the last promotion spot to the FKF-WPL.

Kibera Soccer Ladies won the Zone A title while Soccer Assassins became the Zone B champions for the 2022/23 season.

The two will be pitted against each other to determine the joint FKF Women’s Division One champion.

Soccer Assassins have made it back to back promotions. After gaining promotion into the Division one in the 2021/22 season the now will be making their debut in the FKF-WPL. Meanwhile, Kibera Soccer Ladies will make their return after their relegation in the 2020/21 season.

In another winner takes all match, the stakes are raised as the promotion play off match pitting Zone B’s Bungoma Queens and Zone A’s Uweza Women FC will also take center stage.

Both finished second in their respective zones and will get an opportunity to fight for the last promotion spot. They will be looking to make their first ever appearance in the FKF-WPL in the 2023/24 season.

The play-off matches will be played in the RVIST Grounds in Nakuru.
