Kakamega Homeboyz is ready to make its debut in the CAF Confederation Cup, with a clash against Libya’s Al Hilal set for Saturday, August 19, 2023, at theĀ  Nyayo Stadium.

They earned their spot by emerging victorious against Tusker, sealing a 1-0 win and securing not only the Mozzart Bet Cup trophy but also the honor of representing the nation in the prestigious CAF Confederation Cup.

After the first leg, they will head to Libya to play the second leg of the first preliminary round scheduled for Sunday, August 27, 2023.

The winner on aggregate after both legs will advance to the second preliminary round and face Rayon Sport (Rwanda).
