FKF President Nick Mwendwa has met with FKF Premier League club Chairmen and CEOs today, on Friday, August 26, 2023, in preparation for the commencement of the 2023/24 season this Saturday.

During the session, FKF President Nick Mwendwa provided clubs with an overview of what to anticipate in the upcoming 2023/24 season. This included discussions on league matters such as fixture scheduling, referee assignments, venues, club licenses, and sponsorship, among other aspects crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the league.

“Meeting with the clubs is a standard procedure we do ahead of every season, and today we discussed matters related to the organization of the league, including fixtures, officiating, venues, club licenses, and sponsorship, among others,” explained President FKF President Nick Mwendwa.

The 2023/24 season is set to kick off on Saturday, August 26, 2023, with eight matches scheduled for the opening day. Defending champions Gor Mahia will commence their title defense against Sofapaka at Kasarani Stadium, while last season’s runners-up, Tusker, will face Bandari FC away.
