Kibera Soccer Ladies and Ulinzi Starlets played to a 1-1 draw on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Wolves Den.

Ulinzi took the lead in the 45th minute, Neddy Atieno’s long range effort finding the back of the net. Ulinzi went into the halftime break with a 1-0 advantage over their hosts.

Second half however witnessed a much different Kibera Soccer side as they sought to claw back the deficit. Their breakthrough came through a sublime free kick by Lilian Mmboga in the 85th minute. Kibera came close again shortly after forcing a great save from Judith Omondi. The match ended with spoils shared between the two teams.

In the scholars derby, Soccer Assassins had to come from behind to secure a point at home to Zetech Sparks. Sparks took the lead with a Beverly Akech strike in the first half. Assassins however found an equalizer in the 77th minute when a penalty was awarded in their favor. Hellen Auma stepped and sent it home.

In other matches, defending champions Vihiga Queens secured a 2-0 win over Gaspo Women. A brace from Janet Moraa proving to be the difference.

Police Bullets continued their winning streak by beating Wadadia by three goals to one.

Vihiga Queens leads the FKFWPL standings with ten points after 4 matches.
