The Kenya Women’s U17 National Team, Junior Starlets, has entered the fifth day of their residential training as of Monday, January 29, 2024, in preparation for their upcoming two-legged second-round FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against DR Congo.

All players have reported to camp ahead of the qualifier.

Head Coach Mildred Cheche has exuded confidence in her team ahead of the DR Congo 2024 FIFA U17 World Cup Qualifiers.

“We have a good team that can compete against DR Congo. The girls came in ready, having previously been active in different tournaments like Talanta Hela and Chapa Dimba, which is a plus for the team preparations.”

The team is gearing up for the first-leg away match against DR Congo, scheduled for Sunday, February 4, 2024. They are scheduled to travel on February 2, 2024.

The return leg is scheduled for Sunday, February 11, 2024.

After the two legs, the winner of the tie on aggregate will proceed to the third round.
