Two teams will feature in the FKF Premier League this season, with Mathare united making a return and Mara Sugar making their debut. Mara Sugar and Mathare United earned their promotion to the top flight from the FKF National Super League last season where they finished first and second with 84 and 82 points respectively.
In their debut matches on Sunday, Mathare United will face a stern test against AFC Leopards at Dandora Stadium, while Mara Sugar will host Kakamega Homeboyz at Awendo Green Stadium. These opening fixtures will be crucial for the newly promoted sides as they aim to make their mark in the league.
