The Junior Starlets are set to make their historic debut on the world stage as Head Coach Mildred Cheche names her starting lineup for the team’s first-ever FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup match against England.

Velma Abwire will guard the goalposts, backed by a solid defense led by Captain Elizabeth Ochaka, alongside Christine Adhiambo, Diana Anyango, and Lorine Ilavonga.

The midfield will be orchestrated by the quartet of Halima Imbachi, Rebecca Odato, Lindey Weey Atieno, and Lorna Faith, who will be tasked with controlling the game’s tempo and creating scoring opportunities.

Upfront, Marion Serenge and Valerie Nekesa will lead the attack, aiming to pierce through England’s defense with their speed and precision.

The match kicks off at 2 am EAT at the Estadio Cibao Stadium in the Dominican Republic, marking a monumental moment as Kenya’s Junior Starlets embark on their World Cup journey.
