The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Harold Ndege as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), following his approval by the FKF National Executive Committee (NEC) on Friday. Ndege replaces Patrick Korir, who resigned earlier this month after serving in an acting capacity since October 2024.
A former Tusker FC defender, Ndege brings a wealth of experience from both the private and public sectors, having spent over 13 years in various managerial roles. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the East Africa Pamoja AFCON 2027 and CHAN 2025 Finance Committee.
FKF President Hussein Mohammed welcomed Ndege’s appointment, expressing confidence in his leadership:
“Harold Ndege has his work cut out for him, and we are pleased to have finalized this process. His experience in both football administration and management will be crucial in steering FKF forward. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Patrick Korir for his professionalism and dedication during this transition period. To ensure a smooth handover, Korir will continue guiding the incoming CEO in the coming weeks.”
As CEO, Ndege will be responsible for overseeing FKF’s daily operations, with a key focus on improving governance, financial management, and operational efficiency within the federation.
