Junior Starlets Head Coach Mildred Cheche has named  her starting lineup for the team’s second FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup match against Korea DPR.

Velma Abwire will once again take her position between the posts, with the defense remaining unchanged. Captain Elizabeth Ochaka will anchor the backline alongside Christine Adhiambo, Diana Anyango, and Lorine Ilavonga, aiming to fortify the team’s last line of defense.

In midfield, Velma Awuor steps in to join Halima Imbachi and Rebecca Odato, bringing fresh energy and creativity to the heart of the pitch.

Leading the attack will be the dynamic trio of Lorna Faith, Valerie Nekesa, and Marion Serenge, who will be looking to penetrate the Korea DPR defense and create scoring opportunities.

The match kicks off at 11 pm EAT at the Estadio Cibao Stadium in the Dominican Republic, as the Junior Starlets aim to bounce back and make their mark on the world stage.
