Balaji EPZ FC has one foot in the third tier FKF Division One League following their 2-1 win over Equity Bank in the playoff played on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Camp Toyoyo.

The Babadogo based side had fallen behind in the 54th minute courtesy of a Vincent Mbindyo strike for Equity, but an inspired show in the last ten minutes saw Evans Juma restore parity in the 84th minute before Caleb Ndinya snatched all three points with three minutes left on the clock.

Balaji will face Gor Mahia Youth on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Camp Toyoyo, starting at 3 pm, with a draw enough to see them through to the third tier.

Equity Bank, meanwhile, will have all to play for when they face Gor Mahia Youth on Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Camp Toyoyo, starting at 3 pm.
