A five-day FIFA/CAF Technical Directors workshop, hosted by Football Kenya Federation, has on Friday, August 31, 2018, culminated in Nairobi, Kenya.

The closing ceremony was graced by FKF Deputy President Doris Petra who emphasized FKF’s commitment to improving the levels of the game through its Technical Department.

“FKF wishes to thank CAF for according us an opportunity to host this workshop, which we believe will equip Technical Directors with the necessary technical know-how to impart knowledge to grassroots coaches,” said DP Petra.

“Football in Kenya is undergoing positive transformation aimed at ensuring the country’s success both at the national, regional and international level. We thus believe such workshops will go a long way in ensuring our coaches, who, regrettably, were not offered such opportunities in the past, are better equipped,” she added.

The workshop brought together 14 English-speaking Member Associations, represented by their respective Technical directors with an aim of discussing their roles and mandates in football development.
