The Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom Tournament heads to Mombasa for preliminary matches this weekend, Saturday 2nd – 3rd December.
A total of 117 preliminary matches will be played in Taita Taveta, Kaloleni, Kwale, Tana River, Kilifi, and Malindi. 38 matches will be Girls’ matches while the rest will be Boys’.
18 inter sub-branch final matches will be played in Nyanza this coming weekend; 6 Nyanza West, 6 in Nyanza South and another 6 in Nyanza North to determine who represents the respective sub-branches In the Nyanza Region finals set to be played in Gusii Stadium on Saturday 9th – Sunday 10th December.

At the grand finale set for March 2018 in Nairobi, the winning teams will walk away with Sh 1 million each and an opportunity to go for an international training and mentorship camp in London with Kenyan International Victor Wanyama in April 2018. Safaricom has invested Sh100 million towards the program which includes Sh10m worth of prizes as well as funds for the renovation of select community pitches through a legacy programme.
