This year’s Chapa Dimba na Safaricom will roll to its seventh region on March 23, and March 24, 2019, as games kick off in Nairobi.
From the released fixtures, a total of 97 matches will be played in Nairobi West Branch across its four sub-branches; Dagoretti, Langata, Starehe, and Westlands.
The other 77 games will be played in Embakasi, Kasarani, Makadara, and Kamukunji sub-branches all under Nairobi East Branch.
Attention will be on reigning Nairobi boy’s champions and National runners-up Gor Mahia Youth who kick off their title defense against Jericho All-stars at the Lower Jericho grounds on Saturday.
On the same day, losing Nairobi finalists Slum Dwellers will kick off their title chase at Kabete Polytechnic against Young City.
Teams winning their group games will romp to the next phase of the competition the weekend after as the girls kick off their games.
Chapa Dimba grassroots games have since concluded in Western, Nyanza, Eastern, Rift Valley, Coast and is at an advanced stage in Central.
