Newly promoted Nairobi City Stars have edged coastal side Bandari 2-0 in the BetKing Premier League matchday three action on Friday, December 11, 2020, at the Kasarani Stadium.
The first half was rather subtle as both teams bagged zilch goals despite attempts to take up the lead, before the break.
Upon resumption, Nairobi City Stars forward Anthony Mukki broke the deadlock at the 6oth minute giving the newbies an upper hand in the match.
A mishap caused by Bandari’s Bernard Odhiambo doubled the lead for City Stars at the 67th minute leading to the scores to close off at 2-0.
Up next will be the Saturday games featuring Western Stima who will face off with Tusker at the Moi Stadium, Kisumu with AFC Leopards set to play against Sofapaka at the Kasarani Stadium.
Sharks and Gor Mahia will also play against Bidco and Ulinzi respectively at the Utalii and Nyayo Stadium.
