The Ethiopian Women National Team is set to jet into the country on Thursday, August 15, 2019, ahead of the scheduled friendly match against the Harambee Starlets on Saturday.

The friendly, set to be played at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, will act as a build-up to Kenya’s upcoming Olympics Qualifier against Malawi, whose first leg is set to be played on August 28, 2019, in Blantyre.

In their most recent encounter at the CECAFA Women Championships in Rwanda last year, the Starlets lost 1-0 to Ethiopia and will be looking forward to revenge at home as they gear up to the crucial Malawi Qualifier.

The team will hold their final training session on Friday morning ahead of the match, set to kick off at 3 pm on Saturday. Lucy, meanwhile, are scheduled to have a feel of the field of play on Friday at 3 pm ahead of Saturday’s showdown.

FKF has, in the meantime, waived gate charges for the match, with gates set to open at 11 am on matchday.
