A joint FIFA/CAF delegation is in the country for meetings with Football Kenya Federation leadership and Hon Ababu Namwamba Cabinet Secretary Youth Affairs Sports, and the Arts.
The visit follows the lifting of Kenya’s suspension by the World Governing body on the 28th of November 2022.
The FIFA members in the delegation include Gelson Fernandes, Director of Member Associations Africa, Nodar Akhalkatsi, Director of Strategic Projects & MA Governance, Solomon Mudege, Head of Development Programs, Alessandro Gramalgia Strategic Development Manager, and Sarah Solemale Senior MA Governance Manager.
Naddim Magdy, Legal counsel at CAF is also a part of the delegation.
The discussions will focus on the recently lifted suspension and the development of football in
Kenya.
