Football Kenya Federation’s Technical Department has lined up two courses for its instructors with the  Basic/Advanced Instructors’ course to induct on Monday, December 9, 2019.

The course will be held at the Kenya Institute of Special Education in Nairobi, under the tutelage of instructor Erich Rutenmoeller.

60 participants are expected to partake in the training and will be duly certified. The course will merge both CAF D and CAF C license instructors.

“We are ready to undertake these courses for our instructors. As a country, we are the first to be doing this in Africa, and I am proud of that,” said FKF President, Nick Mwendwa.

“As a Federation, we believe this course will help add to the instructors’ knowledge on football that they can pass on to the coaches and to bridge the capacity gap to ensure they can take up job opportunities,” he added.

Round two of the courses is expected to kick off on Monday, December 16, 2019, and are expected to wind up on Monday, December 20, 2019.
