The Football Kenya Federation match commissioners course has kicked off on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at the Kamadep Hotel.

Drawn up from different leagues under the Football Kenya Federation, the participants are expected to be in the same page with the referees on the laws of the game and apply it on the matches they officiate.

At the end of the course the match commissioners will be able to grasp the knowledge on the changes of the laws of the game, the current FKF rules and regulations, match management, match reporting and match analysis.

“In a bid to ensure effective running of our leagues, we deemed it fit to include the match commissioners so as to bring them up too speed to the amendment of the laws of the game; to bring them at par with the referees,”said FKF Referees manager Sylvester Kirwa.

The course is under the guidance of Sylvester Kirwa, Maculate Akorot, Peter Kiereini, Steven Oduor and Margaret Omondi.
