Football Kenya Federation has set in motion Covid-19 testing of the Women Premier League players and officials on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
This following the set Ministry of Health and Ministry of Sports and Culture protocols in place to allow the resumption of the league.
Nakuru West Queens began the exercise at the Nakuru Shaban grounds with Oserian Ladies and Eldoret Falcons following suit at the Oserian grounds, Thika Stadium, and Matemo Residence Chepkoilel respectively.
Vihiga Queens had their tests at the Kidundu Stadium at 10 am while Zetech Sparks, Makolanders and SEP ladies conducted their tests at the Zetech University main campus, Shepherds Ground Buruburu, and Ruga Centre respectively.
Meanwhile, Kibera Soccer Ladies, Kayole Starlet, Kisumu All Starlets, and Mathare United Women set in motion their COVID 19 tests at the Kibera Girls Soccer Academy, Kayole Calvary CDF office, Moi Stadium, and MYSA Ground Komarock sequentially.
Closing off the mass Covid-19 testing was Gaspo Women and Trans Nzoia Falcons at State House grounds and Kitale showground respectively.
As the league resumes on Sunday, December 13, 2020, Makolanders is set to open the zone A games in a match against Kibera Girls Soccer Academy while the game pitting Eldoret Falcons against Trans Nzoia Falcons to set the stage for Zone B games.
